About the Owner
Sarah Sellers, Owner & Certified Designer and E-Designer
Hey y'all! I'm Sarah, here are a few things for you to know about me... I grew up in Houston, Texas, I'm a Texas girl, through and through! From a young age, I was a DIYer. I loved picking out new bedding and paint colors for my room. I was always rearranging my furniture to give new life to the space. While my husband and I were in college at the great Texas A&M University (that's right, WHOOP!), we learned a lot about home remodeling by taking on projects in his college home. We learned how to remove flooring, lay tile and wood flooring, replace trim, build benches, tables, shelves, decks, you name it, we probably tried it.
I was an elementary school teacher in Round Rock for 10 years with 2 kids. However, I continued my passion for DIY, and started dabbling in furniture refinishing. The more I did, the more I loved it. I was becoming creative with finishes and started selling pieces. It took off like wild fire, and here I am, 6 years post teaching, and I have a creative job that I love! People started asking me to come over to give color consultations, home design, and get home decor ideas. The more I did, the more I thought about adding home design to my portfolio, not only for furniture, but rooms to entire houses!
